Created to enhance your cooking skills and your culinary pleasure. How
about a nice, cool glass of Italian Pinot Grigio and one of our Italian
seafood recipes that includes scallops sautéed in wine and garlic with
jalapeño orange sauce?
Or, maybe a glass of brisk Chianti with a cheese and
herb breaded, crusted king salmon, served over a bed of red wine
risotto?
A bold Italian chardonnay with Herb-crusted shrimp,
caramelized wild mushrooms and roasted potatoes and onions in a homemade
shrimp stock reduction sauce? Excuse me for a moment, I need a glass of
that bold chardonnay just to keep me typing and away from the stove!
Yes, these are tried and true Italian seafood recipes.
Everything here has been tried and true by this family perhaps a few too
many times, judging by Aletha and Dave’s waist line. Just kidding!
Aletha and Dave stay very “svelte” by sticking to a strict, Italian
seafood diet! Just kidding again, we actually delve into pretty much
every ethnic food group. But, Italian seafood recipes are our
favorite!
Now, that said, here are a few of our "favorite"
favorites, and we promise you, there will be many more coming soon.
A guy has to work a little cooking in with his typing, after all.
Actually this is a new web site, and we do have many, many more Italian
seafood recipes to add that would fall into the above categories, but …
We didn’t want you to have to wait one moment longer to sample some
of the dishes we have been enjoying and perfecting for a great, great
number of years … (not that many years, actually, Aletha and Dave
are just reaching the midterm of Italian seafood recipe nirvana, an era
of creation and jubilant Italian seafood devourment before those golden
years of passivity.)
Since when did DOD get so poetical? At just the thought
of a sweet chunk of ultra-fresh halibut, seasoned with honey lime rub,
self basted in our
Showtime Rotisserie, I guess.
You know, maybe I’d better try that breaded, crusted
salmon one more time before I include it in here, just to make sure,
maybe on my
reusable cedar plank this time… and, maybe just a couple of more
tests on the herb-crusted shrimp … no … no … resist the temptation,
Dave, don’t even think about making these nice people who love Italian
seafood as much as you do wait another second!
Okay, good friends and fellow Italian cooking lovers, I
think you’ve waited long enough:
Apprezzare! (enjoy with gusto!).
Buon appetito always!
